‘Men and Women who will die at their post are the very sort in demand just now in The Salvation Army and elsewhere. They are what the world needs, what we are praying for and what God wants.’

  1. I get so encouraged when The Salvation Army of the past (either 100 years ago or a month ago) has left a good impression with someone, or a positive attitude about either the Army itself or God.

What makes me sad is that some people have a bad experience with a Family Store employee or a disgruntled Soldier (for example) and from then on, decide never to associate with the Army or any of its people again.

Brings to your attention how important it is to always wear Jesus.

    Thanks for your comment

  2. The Bible talks about clothing ourselves with Righteousness. That’s what I think about whenever I put my uniform on.

We shall win.

"The decree has gone forth that the kingdoms of this world shall become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ and that He shall reign whose right it is from the River to the ends of the earth. We shall win. It is only a question of time. I believe that this Movement shall inaugurate the final conquest of our Lord Jesus Christ."
