What do you make of this? Help me out here…

I got this email today… It just screams HOAX! but who would do something like that? and when you think about it… how nice would it be if it was real and he really did want to send me $7,000,000.00 (US) for my ministry?!!?

He’s not asking for any bank account details or anything.. just a name address and phone number. I want to put this email in my junk mail… what would you do?

————————————————–

Dear Beloved in Christ,
It is by the grace of God that I received Christ.
Having known the truth, I have no choice than to do what is
lawful and right
in the sight of God.
I have the pleasure to share my testimony with you, having
seen your
contact from the Internet.
I am Barrister Samuel Tunde, the legal adviser to late
Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Carlos a Brizilian couple that lived in
my Country
Nigeria for 25
years before they both died in a plane crash.
This childless couple were devouted Christians, who
acquired a lot of
property like
land, estates etc.
As their lawyer and WILL executor, I was instructed to
dedicate their
wealth to humanitarian services.
That I did and realized $7,000,000.00 (Seven million US
dollars) but Instead
of dedicating thesaid money for the work of God. I
converted the
fund to myself with the intention of investing it abroad,
of which I
packaged it in a secret vault and deposited the
consignments with a
security company.
I did not want the Security firm to know the content of the
consignment,
so I registered it
as GOLD BARS/DIPLOMATIC BOOKS. And it has since been
airlifted to their
company in Europe.
However, as fate will have it I lost all that I had in a
fire incident
which left me stranded. I was in this state of confussion
when I had an
encounter with Christ when Pastor Creflo Dollars was
preaching on
television concerning Ananias and
Saphira in Acts 5:1-11. and I realized how selfish amd
materialistic I was.
I gave my life to Christ and became born again, and
exposed to the
things of the spirit. And I deceided to carry out the "Deed
of the will".
As I was browsing through a Christian site, I came accross
your address
on the internet and under the guideance of the Holy Spirit
your
ministry was picked as the beneficiary of the money. So if
you feel
compelled by the Spirit pls. contact me on the email
address *(removed)*

ALSO SEND YOUR FULL NAME AND YOUR ADDRESS
PHONE AND FAX NUMBER
YOUR AGE
Yours in Christ,
Barrister Samuel Tunde

  1. It’s a hoax.

If you’re really not sure, or you just want a laugh, set up a PO box address, or get the phone number to a direct-answering-machine.

But, I’ll bet you 15 million dollars it’s fake. (That’s how much I was offered this morning! 😉 )

  3. Some people see “religion” as just another business if you know what I mean. It’s just another lever they can exploit. 😦

  4. There’s no question about it. It’s a scam.
Before they will “attempt” to send you any money, they will require your bank account information.

Right now they are just “fishing.” Don’t bite!

  5. I know it’s a load of garbage… but boy wouldn’t $7,000,000.00 be nice 🙂 Oops… theres my greed coming out. God’s got everything I need under control!

(but… if anyone happens to have a spare 7mil they wanna donate to me – I’m more than willing to accept!)

  9. I’ve gotten at least 10 of those emails …. all from different people, but all saying basically the same thing. I’ve even replied to a couple letting them know that I know that it’s a big scam ….. of course, they replied and tried to tell me that all was legit. 🙄

Like I’m some sort of sucker … 😆

  10. We tend to think that if Jesus Christ compels us to do something and we are obedient to Him

We shall win.

"The decree has gone forth that the kingdoms of this world shall become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ and that He shall reign whose right it is from the River to the ends of the earth. We shall win. It is only a question of time. I believe that this Movement shall inaugurate the final conquest of our Lord Jesus Christ."
