Bums on Seats

Normally I’m not one for numbers, but there were 212 people at Church yesterday morning for Mothers Day.

That’s more than there has ever been.

Yay for growth in the attendance on Sundays. And yay for the growth of the Church community. Jesus is doing some amazing things in the lives of many people in Balga; those who belong to the Kingdom of God, and those who don’t yet.

Bring it on Lord!! 🙂

  1. Amen,
How did you get the count? I hope you didn’t have to count them all by yourself lol

  2. Stats can be a bad thing, but they aren’t bad on their own. The New Testament is full of them. In my own personal opinion (was that redundant or what?) people who say they don’t like stats are usually people who aren’t reaching anybody.

  3. By ‘people who aren’t reaching anybody,’ is that a statistical observation?

We had our hall full on Sunday too. I was a little disappointed there wasn’t a salvation message praught. I lead a song (‘something beautiful’). My corps officer kind of put me on the spot with it, but I was able to make a little spiel about how God takes our ‘brokenness and strife’ and makes is beautiful, so hopefully God uses that.

We shall win.

"The decree has gone forth that the kingdoms of this world shall become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ and that He shall reign whose right it is from the River to the ends of the earth. We shall win. It is only a question of time. I believe that this Movement shall inaugurate the final conquest of our Lord Jesus Christ."
