Props to Youth & Children’s Workers.

There are a few conferences, meetings and gatherings going on in The Salvation Army Australia Southern Territory at the moment that are focussed on the training, encouraging and empowering of leaders who work with Youth and Children within the Salvos.

I just wanna put my hand in the air and give a big HIGH FIVE to anyone who has the patience, resilliance and stamina to work with young people. I studied Youth Ministry only to realise that it’s not really my passion, but I have all the respect in the world for people for whom it is.

The TC blogged last wednesday about the goings on…

“Staying ahead of the fastest moving generation in the history of the world is a formidable accomplishment. They’re doing it with grace, courage and a holy abandon. Hallelujah! Good on ya!”

I second that… Hallelujah! Good on ya! HIGH FIVE!

 1. Maybe I’m not as smart as some of you people out there in blog land, but in the last hour or so I’ve been learning some new words.

We shall win.

"The decree has gone forth that the kingdoms of this world shall become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ and that He shall reign whose right it is from the River to the ends of the earth. We shall win. It is only a question of time. I believe that this Movement shall inaugurate the final conquest of our Lord Jesus Christ."
