“The Salvation Army” in Every Language.

My friend set herself a challenge recently to be able to “The Salvation Army” in every language! I thought I’d do some homework for her and look through the 2012 Yearbook (It was within reach, so why not?!) Here’s the result. The “countries” bit may be unusual because of the way that the Yearbook lists the languages etc, but it’s probably “nearly” correct.

PLEASE comment and correct as necessary – and where the languages use alternate alphabet, please feel free to let me know what characters are used so I can fill in the blanks! (There are probably typos as well..)

  1. Only yesterday I was thinking how cool it would be to know the Salvation Army in every language and then I stumbled across this (learning them is a whole other challenge!). Well done. Only one typo I can spot is the Norwegian should be ‘Frelsesarmeen’

We shall win.

"The decree has gone forth that the kingdoms of this world shall become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ and that He shall reign whose right it is from the River to the ends of the earth. We shall win. It is only a question of time. I believe that this Movement shall inaugurate the final conquest of our Lord Jesus Christ."
